Summer - moderate temperatures, the evenings perfect for sleeping after white-water rafting, hiking, boating, or mountain biking. Fall - a spectacular palette of colors ushers in the hunting seasons. Winter - a wonderland for cross-country skiing, ice fishing, and snowmobiling on hundreds of miles of groomed trails. Downhill skiing is within an hour's drive.
