The resort has been operating for many years. Nehalem Bay offers many recreational activities including boating, water-skiing, and fishing. Many catches include Dungeness crabs, salmon, perch, sturgeon and steelhead. The bay has access to Pacific Ocean boating and fishing, as well. The surrounding area includes duck, deer and elk hunting. Within ten minutes of the resort are a hospital, shopping facilities, ocean beaches and beautiful golf courses.
