Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo are two neighboring seaside resorts on Mexico's tropical Pacific Coast. Ixtapa, a world-class resort, is modern and glamorous yet relativly small. The hotel zone along Palmar Beach is easily walkable and shopping areas are just across the street. All water sports are available, sportfishing and scuba-diving are fabulous, and sunsets are more romantic than anywhere else.
