I'd like to know if there is any difference between in RCI and II. Are there any advantages/disadvantages of choosing one over the other? I would like to get some specific details like the difference in exchange rate they charge, the options, etc. I thank everyone in advance.
Thanks everyone. I appreciate your inputs.
I appreciate your info mates. One more thing I wanted to know is about the last minute bookings. Do RCI and II allow last minute deals? I'd like to know. Thanks in advance.
Both RCI and II allow last minute deals. In RCI it's 45 days and in II it's 59 days.
There are no distinct advantages or disadvantages as such. Both have different policies and you've gotta choose the one that suits you the most.
RCI offers more rentals than II. But one important thing about II is that it allows you to keep your unit when you don't get something good in exchange. That is, you can first look out for the kind of unit you want, and when you find it, you can deposit your week. If you don't get what you want, then you can have your unit yourself. RCI doesn't give this option, as you have to deposit your week first. This could be a key factor for you. But this apart, I don't find any big difference. Keep going. :)
I don't think there are too many differences. However, RCI is larger than II and has more options to choose from. I also think it does more rentals than II. So, I would suggest you to choose RCI if you want a larger pool of resorts to choose from. But it's not the only criterion to choose one over the other. You might want to consider things like exchange rate, quality of the resort, and other things.
