I have a doubt as to how the RCI points system works. Is it okay if I get lots of points for the money I pay (irrespective of where I get it from), or is it a must to buy only from popular firms? I would like to get some info. Thanks.
If you get enough points for what you pay, then it's a good deal. No need to really worry about the how big or popular the firm is and other things. The number of points you get matters only when you try to get a good timeshare in exchange. A very good timeshare at a prime location during the holiday season might cost you a LOT of points, whereas a simple one during the off season would cost you lot lesser. Hope this addresses your issue.
