Hi everyone. I was in Antigua last month and had the time of my life. It was GREAT. My wife and I had a great time. We made the decision to prepare our own meals and we saved a lot of money. But we did try out a couple restaurants just for the sake of it and I have to say they were good. We visited a few places and made friends with a few people. Overall, it was a great trip and would love to go there again. Will come up with some detailed posts soon.

Our stay in Antigua gave us some memorable moments. The place is nature's gift. Truly, the island is so beautiful. Though we were provided with LCD TV in our rooms, we didn't feel like switching them on for one moment. After all, we didn't travel all the way from California to watch TV shows. :)
We went on an eco tour in a fifty foot yacht. It was amazing. The island's weather is pretty dry. In fact, it's dryer than most other islands nearby. We enjoyed the beach like anything. But there were a lot of jelly fish and my wife is very scared of them. So, she stayed away from the sea and watched me take a dip. We also tried snorkeling and it was fun.
The most important tip I would give you people is to take a rental car. It is cheaper and you can make the most out of the trip. There is a shuttle service available, but still I would recommend you to rent a car. We spent some time at the English Harbor, which was great.
The people here are amazing. They were very friendly and casual and helped us out with lots of insider tips like the best restaurant to check out, places to visit, and so on. Overall, it was a memorable trip and I would recommend it to anyone who loves a simple vacation.
