The historic settings of the Lodge Alley Inn make it a truly one of a kind resort. The resort is actually set in an 18th century complex. Every thing about the place has an 18th century aura about it, including the décor of the guestrooms. You can find oriental carpeting along with a fireplace and a mini-bar in each of the 95 guest rooms.
Each room features 18th century reproduction furniture. Although the ambience may be retro, the resort features every possible modern amenity including, banquet facilities, meeting facilities, air-conditioning, AM/FM Clock/Radios, microwave ovens, concierge facilities, laundry services, wet bar, and complimentary toiletries, to mention only a few. Guests are also offered complimentary sherry in the parlor. Resort offers complementary newspaper.
One great part of the resort is the dining room named French Quarter, with chandeliers and a glassed-in atrium, which make for great meal times. This apart, you also have an onsite restaurant named ‘High Cotton,’ which serves sumptuous food, where you can try out the local favorite Charleston crab cake or the tender Filet Mignon, among others.
