Hi everyone. I have advertised online for my timeshare unit and must say that the response has been quite positive. Basically I am new to all this. Should I insist on Paypal?? Or will cashier’s check do? I am confused and need help.

I agree with John. A rental agreement is a must. Make sure you include a statement which says that the renter has agreed after verifying everything about the unit. This will ensure that he won’t come back at a later point in time and say that your unit was not up to the mark. In short, spell out the responsibilities of the renter very clearly.
I would insist that you make sure that they sign up a rental agreement. This should be with some kind of guaranteed payment in the form of a security deposit before the rent date.
