Exchanging your week

Hi to all. Can I submit my week, make an exchange, and then let someone else use it? Is it allowed in RCI and II? What is the procedure? Do they charge for that? If so, how much? I appreciate your inputs. Thanks very much in advance.

Thanks everyone. It's good to know that I can opt out even at the last minute and let someone else use my exchange. Thank you bobbyk for your specific details. I appreciate it.

You can do that. The developers will ask you the details of the person who will be staying and once you give them those details, they will come up with what's called a guest certificate for the person. Both RCI and II charge for guest certificates. RCI charges $40 and II charges $29. Nothing else needed. It's a fairly simple process.

Of course you can. Both RCI and II allow their members to give their exchange to someone they want. But you've gotta give the details of the person who will be using your exchange to the company. They will then make the necessary arrangements. And yeah, they do charge. I think it's somewhere around $30 in both II and RCI.
