Hi everyone. I was just going through ebay website and was taken aback to see the ridiculously low rates for some timeshares listed there. Of course, not every timeshare is listed for very low price, but still it doesn't seem to be a good proposition for the seller. The competition is insane and everyone is just trying to outdo each other by offering timeshares at low prices. How could anyone possibly recover at least 50% of what he paid for the timeshare? Beats me. Could anyone of you explain? Thanks in advance.
It's not fair to say that only desperate people come to ebay. I have seen quite a few timeshares listed for a good amount, as they were "good" timeshares from nice locations, if you know what I mean. However, it's a fact that there are lots of timeshares listed for insanely low prices. It depends on the timeshare and the urgency of the seller. However, I've never dealt with ebay and so I can't give you firsthand information. Perhaps someone who has dealt with ebay would be in a position to suggest you something useful.
I've seen a lot of folks who just have no idea of what to do with their timeshare. They don't use it for some reasons and they keep paying the MF and other related fees. It happens a lot of times. So, they immediately think of ways to dispose their timeshare, since they don't use it anyway. So, they rush to timeshare companies and wait for a long time. Sometimes, it takes a very long time and they realize that the annual fee is simply burning a hole in their pocket. So, they rush to ebay and sell it for whatever price they get. So, most of these sellers are desperate to get rid of their timeshares. I'm sure I wouldn't want to be one. :)
