Should I pay an upfront fee to sell my timeshare?

I'm thinking of selling my timeshare, but the company I contacted is asking me for an upfront fee. I'm not sure whether to go ahead and pay it. But they're promising to sell my timeshare within the shortest possible time. Is it worth paying?? Please give me your suggestions/ideas.

I'm sure you could get many different answers/replies to your question. What answer is right? What is wrong?

If you are trying to sell it, that means you bought one.
Funny, don't lots of people ask "should I buy a timeshare?"
The answers to that question on just as many as "how to sell a timeshare".

In my opinion, its up to your goals or objectives. Me personally, I've had my for sell for several months -- had offers, but I'm not willing to settle. I have rented it out --- just as good as selling it (at least for one year anyway). The though has crossed my mind... maybe I always just rent it out (even make money) --- and keep it.

Anyway, do you pay upfront or at the end?
The upfront is typical a set fee. At the end is usually commission 25% or more? Its a math problem.... 25% of 10,000... that's much more than most upfront fees.

Anyway, good luck....
Maybe this website can give you some timeshare answers.
