Hi all. I have come across a lot of ads selling timeshare units, put up by owners, for thousands of dollars. Do people really buy units for such whopping amounts? If not then why do people put up such ads? I don’t quite understand it. Do you?
You are right. You can see hundreds of such ads online. The one reason which I can think of is that people are so carried away by the timeshare salesman’s pitch that they feel that their unit can fetch any price. They want to sell their timeshare at almost the same price that they bought it from the developer. This also shows their ignorance about some of the basics of timeshares.
